Del Rosario, who was introduced by Philippine honorary consul general to Georgia Raoul "Ray" Donato, lauded the Filipino and Filipino-American medical technologists for their dedication to the profession and for helping uplift the image of the Philippines through their excellence and professionalism. PAMET's new set of officers was also presented during the event. They are Ricky Martinez of PAMET-NEVADA, president; Andy Martin of Northern California, 1st VP; Bobbie Abadilla of Texas, 2nd VP; Vangie Robles of New York, 3rd VP; Belle Ocampo of Northern California,

treasurer; Vicky Tubig of Northern California, assistanttreasurer; Evelyn Sayre of Nevada, recording secretary; Evelyn Ramirez of Midwest, corresponding secretary; Mila Braganza of Northern California, business manager; and Jill Mendoza of Northern California, PRO. The board of directors is composed of Ninfa Alcantara (Texas), Gloria dela Cruz (Georgia), Estrella Madamba (Texas), Aida Ramos (New York) and Alan Roux (Northern California). The celebration was jointly hosted by PAMET-Georgia, Texas and Virginia. Live musical rendition was provided by Kayumanggi Alliance Choral and Rondalla Group. A picnic at Stone Mountain Park capped the celebration. | |
